London in the 19th Century
Drawn from an old photograph looking across the Thames from south to north, this piece shows the Thames embankment at a time of industry in the late 19th century. The warehouses and wharfs can be seen all along the riverfront with intricate detail showing the individual business names, cargo and boats moored up along the jetty.
Hand screen printed onto 280gsm printmaking paper. Limited print run of 50, using water based inks and sustainable paper. Each print has been individually printed, signed and numbered by the artist.
Screen Print measures 59.4cm x 42cm (A2 paper size).
Print comes in Sky Blue or Rich Pale Gold. Print comes unframed.
Large A1 prints will be despatched by courier or Royal Mail, for multiple large prints they will be sent flat with a courier, for single large items they will be carefully rolled in a tube. A2 and smaller prints will always be sent flat. All prints are handmade using inks mixed by Will in his studio. Screenprinting is a fine art process which requires each layer to be hand applied with precision and accuracy. Each print has been entirely handmade by the artist. Every effort is made to use biodegradable packaging, water-based inks and all paper is sourced from an FSC certified paper mill.
