Manchester Central, Lower Mosley Street (Midland Hotel)

Detailed architectural illustration of central Manchester looking from Lower Mosley Street with the Midland Hotel on the right hand side, by Will Clarke. This artwork has been hand printed using a beautiful blend of Rich Pale Gold, Pewter and Silver inks.

Limited Edition Silk Screen Print from original hand drawing, signed and numbered by the artist. Fine art printmaking paper 280gsm acid free, archival Lascaux printmaking inks. Only the finest water-based inks are used.

This illustration took a period of three months to complete and captures the beautiful Victorian architecture of the Midland Hotel with Manchester’s ever-changing high-rises in the background. The screen print has been made to made using Lascaux Studio Bronze paints which give the gold a iridescent quality, which sits beautifully against the detailed line work in the foreground.

Print measures 84.9cm x 59.4cm (A1). Unframed

Large A1 prints will be despatched by courier or Royal Mail, for multiple large prints they will be sent flat with a courier, for single large items they will be carefully rolled in a tube. A2 and smaller prints will always be sent flat. All prints are handmade using inks mixed by Will in his studio. Screenprinting is a fine art process which requires each layer to be hand applied with precision and accuracy. Each print has been entirely handmade by the artist. Every effort is made to use biodegradable packaging, water-based inks and all paper is sourced from an FSC certified paper mill.
